So you have a web site up and running, perhaps we even programmed it for you. So what do you do now? How do you drive Internet traffic to your web site?
You should follow the steps outlined below if you are not using our Professionsal Website Promotion Service.

Step One:
Make sure your HTML META TAGS are in order. If you programmed your web site yourself then please read our Meta-Tag page to find out all about them and what they are used for. If we actually did your web site programming then we've already spoken to you about this, so go to Step Three.
Step Two:
Submit your web site to all the appropriate search engines when your Meta Tags are correct and your web site is complete. Please don't waste your time if your site is not complete and does not have Meta Tags correctly programmed.
Since this is such a long and tedious process you may only want to submit your site to the 10 or so most popular search engines.
If we actually did your web site programming then we've already spoken to you about this step too, so go to Step Three.
Step Three:
Submission report analysis and Keyword Audit of your web site after your site is submitted to search engines. We can analyze your web site, the Meta Tags and your content to provide you with a better optimized list of keywords, and better ways to embed those keywords into your web site. We can also provide your with a Search Engine Rank Check to see your current search engine placement, and we can even provide a ranking with your site against any other competitor's web site.
There is a monthly fee of $22.47 for these services for websites we host. For all other websites, the monthly fee is $65.

Step Four:
If the search engine results are not enough for you then you might want to try sending marketing emails. We're not talking about SPAM, but rather purchasing lists of emails where people actually optioned in to receive email information. Sources of opt-in are from credit card companies, free magazines, free eBook downloads etc.
However we have never found any of those services very useful ourselves. We find it's better to start collecting email addresses from your customers today. Create a signup form or post card. Offer them specials via email to incent them to sign up.

Step Five:
If free search engine listings are not enough for you, or if you want to guarantee that your search engine listing will be in the top 10 or 20 returns then you have to spend some money. You are going to have to PAY the search engine companies to list you. Basically you pay them a few cents for each keyword and your requested rank. Before you go playing with this type of marketing you better do one of two things: 1) hire us to do it for you; or 2) get another book to tell you how all this works, otherwise you will feel robbed from the search engine companies.

Step Six:
Get yourself listed in Classified Ads on various web sites. You could try Yahoo! or some other search engine. Look for your competition in the classified ads and then post your own.
